In Portsmouth, Play is provided by many organisations and partnerships, including Portsmouth City Council which hosts over 100 children's play sites and 5 Adventure Playgrounds.
Better outdoor play opportunities are good for children, good for families and good for communities.
The City has just benefitted from a massive windfall which was awarded to the council from the Department for Education (formerly the Department for Children Schools and Families) under the Play Pathfinder funding.
